About the role

What you would do

Build responsive React and Next.js interfaces with TypeScript, including loading, empty, error and success states.

Create functional prototypes and reusable components. Connect design tokens, interaction patterns and documentation to the implementation.

Review design accuracy, keyboard access and performance with designers and engineers, and resolve differences before handoff.

What you need

Practical React, Next.js, TypeScript and CSS experience, with a clear approach to component boundaries and state.

An understanding of responsive layout, semantic HTML, accessibility and browser performance.

The ability to read a design system, notice visual differences and explain implementation trade-offs without losing the product goal.

Useful additional experience

React Native or Expo work that carries interface patterns into a mobile product.

Component libraries, interaction testing, motion in code or collaboration on shared design tokens.

What to show in your portfolio

A working interface or prototype, with the original design and a clear account of your contribution.

A component or design system example that shows states, responsive behavior and accessibility decisions.

Explain a constraint you encountered, the alternatives you considered and how you checked the result.

How we would work together

Work with the product designer and the team responsible for the code. Use working builds to discuss behavior and review details.

For a future opportunity, we would agree on the scope, responsibilities and collaboration terms before work begins.
